Established in February 2016, the Menzies Alumni Representative Committee (previously ‘Advisory Group’) provides a formal structure for representatives of the Menzies Alumni to collaborate and innovatively apply their expertise to support to the Foundation in its vision and strategic direction.
The Chair and Deputy Chair are elected to a one-year term in each role, and each serve a two-year term as ex-officio Directors of the Menzies Foundation Board. The Deputy Chair goes on to become Chair the following year. The Chair and Deputy Chair serve as a conduit for communications between the Alumni and the Menzies Foundation Board and staff. The Alumni Chair and Deputy Chair provide a report at each Board meeting.
The committee comprises a maximum of 12 members. Membership is drawn from members of the Menzies Alumni with the aim of representing the diverse range of scholarship disciplines and locations. Appointments are for two years, with an option of a further two years.
